Asking for a friend please. Is she able to get medicals privately to complete the fostering/adoption process as her GPs have said they've got enough on their hands which I completely understand. Anyone ever did one privately? Do you mind sharing which private company you used? She's in London and her first language is not English. Thanks

They are done by the community paediatricians in my local authority

We went through the assessment process this year (approved early July).

We didn't have medicals because the GPs weren't doing them due to Covid.

We filled in a questionnaire and the GPs gave a report to our ASW.

The report basically said when we went to the GP and that I was overdue for a smear blush .
