Care leavers fostering

Does anyone have any experience of thus please?

My husband is a care leaver and we are foster carers and it works really well. He has an amazing insight due to his own experiences in care and it is definitely a big plus. Our eldest foster child (now 25) is a newly approved foster carer and it doing a fantastic job.
