Hi all!!

A family member was taken into care about 6 weeks ago. I put myself forward to be his foster carer. We passed the basement process and it is going to court next week for the final hearing. I just wondered what is likely to happen after that? I'm assuming lots of paper work to sign etc. But will it be a quick hand over or is there likely to be weeks and weeks waiting? Our social worker is hard to get hold of and only calls us if he needs to ask us something for the paperwork.

I am on edge all the time waiting for phone calls. It had been a very slow process so far and this seems to be taking much longer than they originally say.
