Help!!! driving abroad for already booked break...

Hi all!! wondering what is the procedure to be able to take our kids to our home abroad in europe .
Anyone in same situation?? Any tips on how to address this issue welcome.
Sw need to do a risk assesment on the journey but we are driving.. frustraited as everything has been booked for months and we are staying in our house in France.

Of course they have to do a risk assessment.

All holidays in or out of EU even in the same country you have to ask permission for and it includes having an assessment done, not really sure how you did not know that as they normally tell you about all of that stuff.

For us it would need head of service agreement & a signed letter to accompany the child to explain you have permission to take them - this is standard for any foreign holiday.

Parents with PR might also be consulted as they would have a right to express their views and concerns in this scenario.

You need to call your social worker! They must know about your booking I assume?
