Partner only stays at weekends

I'm new to the forum and am only just looking into fostering..
Does anyone know if the fact that my fiancé only lives with me and my children at the weekends, (due to work/travel etc) will have an effect on whether I'll be accepted as a foster carer?

Can I be a sole carer with my fiancé just having the checks DBS etc as she will be around the children at the weekend?

Hello, Approval of a foster carer normally centres around the "fostering household", so consideration of whether your partner is a member of the household will be needed. If he is your fiancé, I would assume that he is, even if he is just with you for just the weekends. I assume you intend to marry, so he should be part of the full assessment.
