We've just travelled all the way to our 2nd foster panel hearing only to be told that our SSW & her manager were both off sick so not able to attend. Our childrens social worker has left & we haven't been allocated a new one & her manager was not able to attend but reachable by phone. The first panel granted an 8 week extension as reports weren't completed by SSW who was off sick on that occasion too so not able to answer questions. We have had the children since 15th Dec so are close to the 26 week mark already. Does anyone know how long its likely to take to get another date? How many times can they be off sick??
