Fostering Assessments

I'm interested to hear from foster carers about what kind of things were really helpful (or otherwise!) during their Form F assessment. What information or resources really helped in getting you more prepared for fostering, or helped you understand the role better? Or what do you know or have you seen since that potential new foster carers should be introduced to?

Personally I think new and pre approved foster carers need to read and attend courses re attachment and behaviours that some dive a child suffering attachment issues and trauma.
