When a social worker rings you with a child to place what are the key questions that you ask before you agree to take them?

My LA are usually pretty good at giving me a basic background and reasons why the placement is needed. One of my first questions is always how often contact is expected as I would not for instance be able to manage more than 3x per week due to other children in my householdGrin

Adding to the great answers above, I always ask if there are any identified special needs / medical needs.

We always asked for the risk assessment to be emailed through to us before deciding.
