Number of FCs in your area?

How many other carers in your agency are there in your area (ie. within half an hour drive)? I've found out that there are 6 within half an hour of me and was wondering how others compare.

Don't you all meet regularly?

I've got two within a minute's walk which is great! And a regular local support group which includes a few in my immediate area.

We have a monthly meeting which around 12 attend, but there is a lot more foster carers in my LA who just don't come to the meetings (either because they don't want to, or child/work commitments).
It's nice to meet up and know you're all going through the same sort of thing!
