How do you earn money when awaiting next placement?

I'm in the process of applying to become a social worker, and I want to be sure I'm going to be ok financially. I was wondering what people do to earn money to pay the bills when they're inbeteeen placements?

you either need to have an additional income or save part of your payments to cover the times when you are not getting paid.

If you're a single carer with no other income, you can claim some benefits whilst fostering.
