Hi, if anyone's interested I've just started a blog about fostering in the uk. I'm intending to post each week on different issues in fostering. Please have a look and follow my blog if you fancy a read Smile

Hi, I read your blog! I would be really interested to know how it has all affected your daughter and what age she is. I have delayed applying to be a FC because I am worried about impact on my own kids who are 4 and 6. I was thinking of leaving it til they were at secondary school but is there ever a good time?!

Very interesting read.

I find it frustrating to read when people don't get told the realities in advance. I feel that it should made crystal clear what you can expect & what is expected of you. Especially practicalities like training, school runs etc.

Also find it a shame that you don't get support with finding cover so you can attend training. It's such a crucial thing to learn and develop and also to mix with other carers for support.
