asked to do a book about us? Anyone done this

Apparently we need to produce a ? scrapbook effort? about us and our family that could be shown to to both panel or to a potential foster child.

ANyone else needed to do this? WHat did you do, could you give us some pointers?

Yes, we had to do this.

We made up a page about members of our family (with speech bubbles from photographs saying who we are), page about our home and fc room, page about our pets and a page about our area and all the lovely things we like to do :-)

We are approved for young children, so it was very simple!

Yes, I used a bright photo album with those self adhesive pages

My daughter chose bits and bobs of crafty stuff like flowers, buttons etc to stick by the photos and glitz it up....(the self adhesive albums are brill for this)

We included photos of family, pets etc and the front was entitled "welcome to our family"

If you have children Im sure they would love to do their own pages x

Hi, We used a talking photobook as we felt the voice element added an extra dimension, Especially for younger children or children who weren't able to read. Each page was a different texture with lots of colours and patterns too......it went down really well with panel
