Hi ladies just wonder now we ho about de registering,

We are now on the journey to adoption and dont really fancy a bisit from out support sw every 3 weeks

Don't you just have to give them a certain amount of notice in writing? I'd have thought they'd want input from your SSW if you're adopting though.

No after a hellish few weeks with our over our choice to adopt we are getting the hell out of there jumping ship to a VA

Sorry with our LA we are moving to a VA or any one else thats not them really its been awful

You send a letter containing your resignation. Your SSW will need to talk to you about your reasons so she can explain them to Panel.
Any organisation you move to will contact the LA you fostered with. I expect they will be interested in finding out why you felt unable to continue working for them.
