Moved onto the next step

well I got phone call from the social worker who came out to see me a couple of weeks ago. She has written up her report and referred it onto her manager and they have agreed to let us move onto the next step, medicals and police checks.

I'm absolutely thrilled. I understand that my medical will have to be referred onto the medical office but I'm hoping that he will see things on a positive level.

can anyone tell me what the medical comprises of?

My medical consisted of me seeing my GP for a basic physical and she filled in a form and sent it to the medical officer who seemed to have the power to say either "yes i think she is healthy enough" or not.
