My DP and i have pur pannel date early july. We are very excited and feel we have been waiting along time. Just a simple question to carers who are past this point, dothey tell you there and then if your accepted or do we have to wait? If so does anyone know rough tine scale to wait? ( i understand each LA will prob have different ways, just looking for a rough idea).
Thank you

We were told on the day... we were asked to leave the room and after about a lifetime 5 minutes, the head of department came and told us Smile

Good luck and well done on getting so far...

Keep in touch x

We were also told on the day. We were asked some questions by the panel, then asked to wait about 5 mins, then brought back in to be told we had been accepted Grin

My knees were actually knocking (!) on the day, but it is one of the best things we have done-good luck and let us know how you get on.

You will find out the panel's recommendation on the day, but then I think it goes to someone really high up in Children's Services who gives it their final agreement (pretty much always the same as what panel says) then you get your approval letter through

... very shortly after the panel, don't worry you are very very nearly there! Hope it all goes ok x
