1st placement.....update!

She arrived yesterday
She is fantastic
She slept all night
I DIDN'T!
She has just filled her nappy.....ooh the joys

How exiting, go easy on yourself the first couple of days (think it took about a week to scrape myself off the ceiling..)

Oh she is an absolute joy! We waited 7 1/2 weeks for a placement but she was worth every second..... She went down at 8 last night, woke at 3, drank 4oz, smiled and gurgled for 10 minutes then went back to sleep til 7.....she's just gone out on contact so I think its a nice bubble bath for me. :) xx

Congratulations on your 1st placement and pleased to hear it is going so well. How old is LO?

We are also newly approved and have had one respite placement lasting 10 days which went really well and are expecting next one within 2 weeks and hoping this one will be staying longer :)

Don't forget to do your recordings and start your memory book for baby :)
