hi, just a very quick question im hoping maybe somebody may have an answer to or any suggestions.
A breif background to our circumstances, a friend of my sons has moved in with us, he has just turned 16 but is still in school. Im not able to foster him as LA says he is too old and he is just "legally choosing to live with us". I am now his main care provider and financially responsible for all of his needs aswell as his wellbeing. He does visit his mum twice a week and she has told me to go ahead and collect any benefits such as child benefit and tax credit for him. I sign any school forms, am now listed with them for "parental contact " incase of emergancy, reports etc, basically the whole lot to do with parental decissons for him.
My question is (although its a bit of a silly one!)
on some of the forms i have had to fill in i come accross a box which says "Relationship to child" Has anybody got any idea what i shoud answer?? as social services are not involved, nor are the LA. It purely is that he now is a part of our family and lives with us.
Many thanks for any offered suggestions
x
