Hi, We've to go through this as part of our assessment. Does anyone have any experience of these and can tell us what to expect?

Thanks

Sharon x

Hi Sharon. Are you aware of attachment theory in relation to the child/adult and the importance of secure attachments for children to thrive through their lifespan.

The adult attachment is based on the same theory but looking at you and how your early attachments have affected you, which is very helpful in a fostering assessment, both for you and the assessor.

If you google Adult Attachment Interview, the first one that came up was very helpful and actually gives a list of the type of issues that are raised in this type of interview (with notes on how the assessor should encourage the applicant to describe their early childhood experiences etc etc.

So get on google!

He is much better thanks. Think he may have been a bit constipated - he's never had normal poo before so thought he was producing sufficient - seems not! He'll be having a dose of Senna once a week to prevent in future, Smile
