I rang SW today and asked for a 1st visit to start the fostering assessment process.... I'm really excited.

Best news is that they are willing to take in to account all of my previous experience working in residential childcare and as a children's rights worker and my qualifications and are going to consider me for a Level 3 carer ( highest level)......dead chuffed. Here's hoping we make it through the process and get approved so we can help the little ones who need love and safety.

I have decided to go with the LA for now. I was initially not going to because I was afraid of the lack of support.I have spoken to another carer recently who says she has always had any support she's needed so we'll go with it for now.

I am so excited.........Grin
