What should we put in our portfolio

Hiya. I'm new to mumsnet so please forgive me if i don't do it right!!

Going thru the assessment process and SW hopes to get us to panel at the end of Aug - yikes..

She's told us that we need to create a 'portfolio' about ourselves - and just wondering if anyone has done one recently, and the types of things you put in it.

all help really really appreciated - this is so exciting & frightening at the same time.

Hi p9gmb, it's a very long time since i went through the process but think maybe they want something about you as a family and how you tick. Like are you a sporty family, green family, bookish family etc, etc.

What makes your family unique and able to offer care to someone elses child.

Put all yours and your kids acheivmnets in it and a few photo's plus something about your house (space available) and you local area.

This is all just a guess but perhaps someone with more relevent up to date may come along to comment soon.

If in doubt then ask them what they want you to include.
