Congrats!!!!

Wow! Congratulation! How exciting for you! We leave RAF Halton on Friday - are you coming here or waiting for his trade training posting?

lissielouskissingsantaclaus · 14/12/2009 20:43

his TT posting is only 18w, and he is due to finish that in august so we will wait til then. dont really want to disturb ds's school too many times within months.

one lad was sent home straight away for not wearing a tie! dh's interview only took 5mins and the interviewer said that he'd heard loads about him!

What trade has he gone for?

I love listening to the passing out parades, watching the fly pasts

lissielouskissingsantaclaus · 14/12/2009 21:09

Personnel support! i can stay for the attestation(sp) if i come down with him. i know that passing out is a long way off yet, but omg!

Start looking for an outfit now, make sure it's warm!

I loved my BT, it's hard work but a period of time in your life you'll never forget and you learn an awful lot about yourself. I hope he enjoys it!

lissielouskissingsantaclaus · 14/12/2009 21:15

Thank you. where are you going to then?

We've bought our own house in Wiltshire, fed up of moving around but have had good times and made many friends along the way. You'll have a great time.

lissielouskissingsantaclaus · 14/12/2009 21:20

aw lovely. we were a bit worried about moving ds around but figured that he would get used to it, its also a great experience.

Still very young. This will be DD's third (and final) primary school. She is in Y2! She's coped with the moves really well but it's now time to stop for us.

lissielouskissingsantaclaus · 14/12/2009 21:28

thanks herbie, he will probably be based at one of the 9 big operation bases first off.
