Moving to Lyneham in Nov

Is anyone here living in Lyneham? We're moving there in Nov. Would be good to know a few people before our move. Have heard that it is a friendly camp

We are moving v nearby in Dec. Not to a married quarter as we've decided to buy our own house. We're hoping to be able to join the mess at Lyneham as DH will be working there one day a week. I know the area very well so if you have any questions fire away!

We used to be bases at Lyneham. Moved end of 2005 so not brilliantly upto date but I doubt much has changed as it is on a slow wind down ready for its closure in 2012 and move to Brize.

There are 4 MQ estates. 3 airmen estates and 1 Officers estate.

Do you know your address yet?? or WHich estate you're moving to? Let me know what you want to know about the houses and estates an village and camp LOL! An I will try to help!
