Tropical postings

We (DH2B and I) are off to La Reunion for 3 years.

We're French forces so, unless anyone has any super words of wisdom about the French Navy, I desperately need practical advice about stuff to take and living in the tropics, if anyone can provide, rather than the admin side of it.

Not coming to Brussels then?

sun cream, a good book and some mosquito repellant?

Ooooooo I always wanted to go to Reunion!

We've lived in the tropics in different places for 12 years, uhmmm what to take? Mozzie nets, we have always bought repellant locally, yes to the suncream, plenty of swimming paraphenalia, cotton clothes, nappies if the dc are small?

Nope, not Brussels. I would have liked Brussels as I could have worked much more easily there but oh well, tropical island life it is. Can't be that hard!
