MODern Housing is undertaking a 'National Hedge Reduction Programme' and our garden was 'done' yesterday.
Now, we had a pretty tall hedge/line of trees at the bottom of the garden, which undeniably needed to be trimmed back, but also made our garden quite private. Well, they have cut the whole thing back (with what looks like a chainsaw), so that it is now lower than my head height . It looks AWFUL and I can see all of my neighbours' back garden! I now have no useful shade in my garden in the afternoon, and won't be able to do emergency-ironing in my pants at the kitchen table
Thank God we move in a few weeks.
