loved the bit about Blandford, yes we are in the lovely beautiful refurbished houses, w moved in in January, from our severely substandard quarter.
we were supposed to have moved house the April before, but the refurb was that far behind.
a lot of personnel are being housed privately, as there are not enough quarters while they do the rfurbs, mind you if they hadn't demolished the 20 houses they did a couple of years ago, (knowing at the time they were doing the refurbs) they wouldn't have had too.
and as i said we are lucky to be in one of the refurbs, i pity the other families in the other 1000,00 quarters on this amp that have NOT been refurbed! only 200 are being done.
By the way i first moved onto this camp wayyyyyyyyyyy back in 1974, most of the housses havnt been touched since then.
The main play park is being done as we speak, th on they have pulled down was the same one I played on a s a child when I came here in 74.
