Does anyone have the Telegraph from last Thursday (5th March 2009).
My husband has had his name published as a chartered engineer and I forgot to buy it. He is away with the Army at the moment and left me this one single task (hmph - but that is another topic all together!!) and I completely forgot. I would be more than happy to pay postage etc and so if anyone has not yet recycled theirs please, please could I have it? Thank you so much for 'listening' Kayran

I have one (just rescued from recycling box) although it is rather crumpled. You're very welcome to have it though.

Are you sure that this is the one you want? I can't see any announcements about chartered engineers though (none on the court & social page that has that sort of thing).

Thank you so much! I have been sitting here hitting the refresh button... Hmm it is a bit worrying that you cannot see the notice. Simon was sent the date with his certificate in November and they said it would be published. They are the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and it is the elected members list of chartered engineers, does that help? I really appreciate you taking the time to help. Crumpled does not bother me - ours usually has baked beans mouldering away as we have a combined recyling bin and that is not nice Please dolet me know if you can find anything - if not I am not sure it is worth asking you to go toall the effort of posting it... Why, oh why is there always 'just one more little thing'... Kayran

I'm sure its not there. Could it have been The Times?

Got to feed a screaming child, but will have a look at other days after that.

Kayran · 10/03/2009 12:19

Thank you so much. No it is definetely the Telegraph as we get the Times and it is not that. I am going to phone the institution and make sure they did post the list. Thank you so much again. Do not spend any more time on it yet - I will make that phonecall first. Kayran

Aha... It is in the pink bit! Does that make sense and it is published by the Engineering Council of Great Britain on behalf of the IMECHE... Here's hoping we are in the pink... Very weak joke sorry Hope crying baby is now happy baby. Kayran

Oh, no. I don't have the pink bit. I know the bit you mean but it isn't in my recycling box. I'm guessing it was used to wrap up broken pieces of china or glass from one of the many things ds2 broke last week or went into the compost heap.

So sorry to let you down.

I know the Telegraph isn't very popular on MN, but there must be other readers, and someone else will have a copy. If all else fails maybe the Telegraph could send you a copy?

Well done to your dh though, btw.

Kayran · 10/03/2009 13:23

Thank you so much for all the effort. Yep hubby did well - y'know he slaved over those books whilst I toddled around looking after myself, the three children, the house, the dog..

Hi Kayran. Sorry I can't help either but I'm sure if you contact The Telegraph they will send you a copy. It may cost you, but I'm sure it will be worth it. Good luck!

PurlyQueen · 10/03/2009 14:45

If you email me at ronkechalmers at gmail.com, I can try to send you a copy.

alibubbles · 10/03/2009 16:49

I should have it, I'll check the recycle bin. A bit like me, I forgot to get the FT for DD's chartered accountancy exam pas!

alibubbles · 11/03/2009 10:57

Alas, I have the paper, but no pink section, sorry!
