getting the garden slabbed by DHE

i'm thinking of asking them to slab half my garden as it has been destryoed by moles, there are about 80 moles hills with more popping up.

what do you think the chances are of this getting done by them, don't wanna pay for it myself but the kids can't even play in the garden which is a shame.

I think the fact that we only get 6 slabs and they call that a "patio" should be a bit of a clue!

But on a more helpful note, when we moved into our qtr at High Wycombe and the garden was a bog, we had to do it ourselves. That said I didn't even approach DE. But you might be as well to just get someone in or do it yourself!

i'm thinking of getting quaotes and then phoning dhe. it's ridiclous all they said was it my problem like i asked the moles to come up and have a party lol if they don't i can claim some of it back from my childminding

omg thats terrible might just get hubby to rope in some of his mates and get it sone that was buy them a couple of crates of beer lol

herbie - yep, they haven't extended the 'patio' for dd2 here either, but they did put a rail in after 18 months so that she could get to the 'patio' (after, yep, 2 x OT reports...) but then, it took that long to put rails into the toilet so she could use that...
we're posted in the summer, and despite the fact that i've sent an OT report and my written interpretation (i know what the quarters are like where we are going) i know no-one will do anything until we get there...
