Does anyone know how I can find out what number I should ring from a landline to get throught to a military extension number? I have the 5 digit code and 4 digit extension number but have no access to military network. DH is away at the mo or I'd get him to do it!

Dh says ring your nearest military base and they will be able to put you through using the military extension number

I think it's somewhere at 3 Div. It's someone who is going to give me a reference for a job, but I need to give them a number they can ring hime on and he has only given me his military number! DH muttered something about the military network operator last time I spoke to him but I can't find anything about that naywhere!

Hi LL

Drusilla

If you call the MOD operator in Portsmouth
Tel: 02392 722 351 and give them the location and military extension, they will connect you at the cost of a UK landline call.

That's how I kept in touch with my husband when we were in Cyprus and he was detached to the Falkland Islands last year.

Thanks subgrange - that's the one!
