Had a lovely holiday in Sardinia and have moved house! We had an interesting move in day - eventually got the keys at 15.00. The poor removal guys had been here since 09.00.

To cut a long story short we had to part with 6K of our own money to get the keys to the hiring.....

House fab though!

only 65? you haven't got enough kids yet...
we're waiting for the board next month and then i have my nervous breakdown scheduled. we were well over last time and there's 3 more years accumulation on top of that...
dh has his fingers crossed for o'seas and i can't even imagine having to sort for 'ship' and 'store'... eek.

We have got some of the money back. It's all rather complicated - but will be involving complaints.

Although none of the delay was our fault MHS shipping also want us to pay the removal guys' overtime!!! £60 per hour + VAT.

Glad you are in and settled. at £6k though, good job you had it .

MIL here tomorrow and DH at football so I am off to bang nails in walls now. I had hoped he might manage his one removals type job but not this time . Maybe on our next move hey??
