Mrs Ticklemouse is that Waterbeach by any chance?

MrsTicklemouse · 22/02/2010 14:41

Luciemule how exciting yes it is!!

luciemule · 22/02/2010 14:47

Aha - we were there in 2000 after we got married. We loved being minutes away from Cambridge. I still have a friend who lives in the village. We now live in our own home about 40mins from Cambridge so luckily still close enough to pop down to shop!
Are you on camp or in the village?

timelordvictorious · 22/02/2010 15:11

Timelordvictorious-RAF-Oxfordshire.

Gemmummy and Slummymummy, which camp? I'm at Benson.

MrsTicklemouse · 22/02/2010 15:12

Greetings ladies! I'm an RAF wife but dh and I live apart during the week - he at RAF Halton and me in Suffolk, due to my job.

It is hard at times but we make it work. We're planning on trying for a baby next year, so the living apart could make the babydancing at the appropriate times awkward!

Shoshe · 10/03/2010 21:29

Just seen this, can I take myself off the Roll Call, DH has done his 22, and is out

Cavemum - we just moved from army suffolk and are now living apart (see another thread about DHs living away in week). Where about's are you in lovely Suffolk?

Rocinante · 11/03/2010 12:54

luciemule - I'm Suffolk, but not living in MQs (would be Wattisham). Where were you, and did you like it up here?

notyummy · 11/03/2010 13:04

notyummy. Me: Ex-RAF.Living in Lincolnshire

DH: Still RAF and at High Wycombe.

CaveMum · 11/03/2010 13:31

luciemule I'm in Newmarket - I work in horse racing so can't really be anywhere else!
DH was based at Wittering for a while so he got to live at home, but then 1yr ago they promoted him (shouldn't complain about that!) and moved him to Halton.

Shoshe · 11/03/2010 14:16

Eldest DB is at Wittering although live in their own home near Scampton.

Rocinante - we moved from Wattisham in April. We lived on camp and we absolutely loved Suffolk but DH is now doing a staff job in Bristol and we're living in our own house in Northants for a while, until his next posting. Where in suffolk are you?

Cavemum - aha - lovely Newmarket. I used to work on the horse export desk in Bury AHO and export horses for loads of stables in Newmarket. I loved the buzz of it all.

BarbEDahl · 11/03/2010 17:35
