I haven't been on here since about Sep/Oct last year (trying to break my Mumsnet habit as well), and I didn't realise that something had kicked off. That's sad if people have left.

i did the same thing. i got back (from RL, like ) and didn't recognise anyone. it took about 3 weeks to work out what had happened, there were odd 'moldie' comments here and there, but it didn't help in my investigations that it had all mention had been banned and threads deleted...

at least you didn't namechange though - because i de-regged and then came back at least one person assumed i had been caught up in the debacle. didn't know a thing about it. although apparently that meant i hadn't been reading the papers either...

It just means you don't read the daily hate mail madwoman - don't think anyone else found it too interesting.

I googled it and found stuff in the Mail and the Indy. I read the DT online, as Brit papers are very expensive in Brussels, and I can't recall having seen anything about it in there.

Blandford, but waiting on DH joining MPGS which has been held up as they are doing a review, although hoping to stay here.

We were supposed to be there, DH works in Blandford but apparently there are no quarters so we're out here instead...I do wish we lived there though, his 0715hr starts and 1800hrs knock-offs mean he doesn't see DD during the week, it's crap! And of course no one here knows us cos they're all tankies...

Chulita, I am so sorry, you emailed me and then everything went absolutely mad, new kitchen, bedroom bathroom etc and Christmas. Do you want to meet for a coffee at all soon. DC's are in the nursery by the first school so could meet you at the Salvation Army cafe if you want.
