That is definitely wrong. If she has to move, she will receive disturbance allowance and will get the removals paid for.

Whereabouts is she? Who has told her this?

You do get less than you would if say moving 100 miles, as they take out the amount for school uniforms, gym membership etc.

The exact same thing happened to my parents at AyNik in December, and they got DA and removals. Their rent did go up as previously they had been rent free as their quarter was so dire. Not much can be done about that. If it's going to affect them really badly, they should speak to the Families Office about getting the lowest grade quarter possible to reduce their rent.

If she speaks to the Families Office they should be able to set her straight.

def should get 1/2 disturbance, not sure on cost of house, as said above! I moved from a 3 bed once to 4 bed and paid less to how they grade the houses
