My baby boy (21) 😂 is joining the armed forces next month.

what sort of gift would be appropriate from mother to son?

I was thinking st.Cristopher pendant? But he doesn’t wear jewellery

If he’s going officer, maybe a nice set of discreet-ish cufflinks to wear at dinner nights/if permissible with his 1’s or a hip flask?

If going enlisted a hip flask may still be nice or something that he could use/motivate in training?

I think a st Christopher medallion is nice but it might just end up in a draw.

I gave my son a St Christopher with the explanation, it might just stay in a drawer but I want him to have something from his mum. I had it engraved on the back. Not for the army but similar type of thing, ‘going out into the
big wide world’.
