On the 19th February 2008, Major Phil Packer was injured following a rocket attack in the COB. As a result of the accident he is now a paraplegic with what are classed catastrophic injuries.

He plans to raise £1 million for Help for Heroes in support of wounded colleagues at Headley Court.

It would be great if you can support him and would be grateful if you would kindly consider donating and forwarding to friends and colleagues you believe would also help to support him.

He will start training for the next Flora London Marathon whilst returning to work when discharged from hospital on the 13th June 2008.

I apologises for the direct approach, however hope you will appreciate he
wants this to work and hopes he can inspire others to follow suit both; able bodied and disabled; he believes good will come from this.
