He's half way through his 4 month detachment. I've asked him and he says that there's nothing he needs but obviously I have to send him something. Got a large photo of our ds's that I'm going to pack but no idea what else to send. Any suggestions?

A water pistol, my kids always want to buy their dad a water pistol, the first time the first one was a shock, now I am afraid it is rather predictable.

what about a teddy with one of they voice messages inside "love you daddy, see you soon" sort of thing.

i did this for my dh and he loved it, friend did it for her dh and it made him even more homesick (oops)

A wooly jumper, gloves, hat and scarf.
When DH was there over his birthday and father's day, I said to him what would I send/ His reply was "There is a tesco here you know"

A video perhaps, your very own documentary!! A homemade card or poster from the kids always goes down well. A voucher for an activity for when he gets back home ie hotel break, rally day... sweets.

Truprint do photo books they make lovely gifts for anyone, make sure you google promotional codes for truprint as they always have deals on.
