dh leaving navy in 5mths living in mq's and have no job lined up help.......

what are our rights we have 2 children 3 years and 7wks and are living in mq's. Dh's ressettlement started over a month ago but he has been at sea for the last 5 mths and wont be home til next week. So he hasnt even had a chance to look at jobs, sort out courses etc never mind where we are going to live.Its just rediculous that expect you you to do it whilst your away hes been in for 9 years and this the help we get.

I'd speak to your unit welfare officer (or what the navy equivalent is) as soon as you can and make sure you have deadlines confimred etc so then, you can move forward to search for a job/house etc.

It might be that as he's been away so much, they'll extend your quarter for a certain period. I'm only guessing - not saying they will.
