So myself and my partner had a little girl in November last year, he is in the army and was deployed when she was only 6months old in may, he's deployed for 7months.
Any advice on what I can do for him, he's feeling really rubbish as he's missing out on all of our daughters first things and is really worried she will not like him when he's back.
I try my hardest to send him videos and pictures and FaceTime all the time. But I just feel so sorry for him 😔
When he returns we will be getting a posting too, he's moved around abit. But this is my first time and il be moving away from my home town, family, friends and everything I've ever know. I'm so nervous and scared.
Any advice welcome 🙏

I think "care packages" are always well received. Better than emails and texts. Something tangible to show you were thinking of him.

Biscuits and sweets are good, either his favourite or something to share.

And printing off photos so he's got them is good too.
