My DH works at RAF Honington. We live in Thetford(8 miles away) and the houses are a good size but not seperate dining room. As far as I know from houses in Honington they got smaller living room but bigger kitchen with space for dining table. Dont know about the houses in Bury St Edmunds.

Is your DH RAF or army? Mine is army

Yes we have a big living room with our dining area at the back. All the houses in Thetford have really good sized secure gardens.
Thetford is not hugely exciting but has park, swimming pool, big huge Tescos, few shops, cafes, good library and variety of toddler groups etc. Honington is really just the camp and the houses and nothing else to do at all.

the houses are either drake road or hood way. ten mins from the big Tescos. We have 2 big bedrooms and a small 3rd one. All have good big fitted wardrobe space though. Not too sure about the schools as my DD is 18months and goes to a privte nursery. Their is a primary school 2 mins round corner from the houses which is pretty handy.
