Living In Brunei

Hi,

I have just joined Mumsnet today after being recommended to try it by a friend.

I am currently living in Brunei - My husband has a 2 year posting here.

We have been here for a year and I must say it has been quite a culture shock.

I have a 2 1/2 year old son.

Are there anymore mums out there living in Brunei or similar countries.

We did loads of sunshine postings as a kid and loved every one of them, your Ds will get alot out of it. Make the most of it, its raining and cold here

Thanks for replying and since my last message I have changed my Nickname.

I should have changed it to brown bear that's really good never thought of that one.

Brunei is hot all of the time except when it rains and then it only goes down a couple of degrees the sight of the sun makes you feel good until you have to go outside then you burn to a crisp!!

My son likes it apart from the mossies that bite him relentlessly even with cream on.

Only another 1 1/2 years to go though!!!
