My DP has seen a job advertised in his field, with the RAF. He is seriously considering it as his current job is only part time hours and we are barely making ends meat. It would mean we have a lot more disposable income etc, and would still be something he enjoys. He was in the navy for 5 years after joining up at 17, so has some idea of what military life is like. But I have absolutely no idea what to expect if he goes ahead with it. I am currently not working as we moved shortly before our daughter was born, and childcare costs have just meant it has been better for me to stay at home - she has just turned 2.
Could anyone give me some idea of what it involve? It seems like a good opportunity, but I just don't know
