RAF World War 2

I am doing some family history for dh.
Not his thing.
His grandfather may have been killed in the Second World War in an RAF plane in Germany.
He has no contact with that side of the family. His parents split acrimoniously.
Where do I write to or can I go online to see records?
Thank you in advance.

Have you got any names?

Try a 14 day free trial on Ancestry, they have service records and details of death ans all other info on thwre

Get him to tell you everything he does know such as names, ages etc. Then I would suggest going on a site such as wwww.ancestry.co.uk or www.familysearch.org and start by confirming the details you do know. You might find Ancestry the best site to start with, try their 14 day free trial. www.cwgc.org has a free search feature 'find the war dead' really worth looking there as well. Good luck
