Chicksands?

Hi,

I wasn't sure where to put this so thought I'd try here.. I'm going to view a house in chicksands tomorrow (non forces) and was wondering if anyone can tell me any more about it?! I'm potentially moving from Oxfordshire with my 3 children (5, 3 and 1) so know little of the area, only that it is mainly forces?

We there for 3 years (2005-2008) and we loved it. I worked along the road in Sandy and Dh obviously on Chicksands.

It was a great location for us. Relatively quiet i suppose (shefford) but not far from London (train from hitchin) or milton keynes.This was pre kids so I couldn't tell you much about schools.

We have very fond memories of living there and still have friends who live there.
