Where to live around the Northwood area and what do we do about schools?

Husband moving to NATO HQ from Turkey (I'm British), in July. Which areas are lovely to live in? We have three children who will be 7, 6 and 4 at the time so we need to consider schools. Having slight panic regarding registering children for schools as we wont have an address untill the summer so anyone with experiance of this who can put my mind at rest will get many .

northwood itself is lovely, as are some parts of bushey, bushey heath and oxhey village (not south oxhey which is a different ball game). Pinner lovely too.

I think northwood and pinner schools are excellent by and large, and there's lots of choice in bushey too.
