DH has only got 6 weeks left of his det in FI, but today I finished work for the school holidays and I'm dreading the week ahead.
Tomorrow and Sun not too bad. Theatre tomoro, matinee and hopefully drinks afterwards, and then a knitting workshop 10-3 on Sun, but then back home on Mon (the weekend is in Nottingham, staying in hotel for 2 nights). No Jubilee parties in my village, my cat sitter is going on holiday so can't stray too far from home after I get back on Mon, and even if I do go out gotta be teetotal to get home. Not much of a drinker normally, but, well, you know ... Tis Jubilee!!!

The ONLY things to look forward to the rest of the week are writing 4 sets of school reports (cause I BET I won't leave them till next weekend much!!!! Blush) and my first appointment to start CBT on Thurs.

I had a hair cut on the way home, shower at half 6 when I got in, now can't be motivated to do anything. Been lying in bed since shower. No children to see to, at least. Sure cats would enjoy some grub though.

Please don't let this set the tone for this week!!

Thanks, SL.

When I wrote my OP, I didn't put it in the Chat board deliberately because my feelings are directly related to DH being away, so thought posting here would be better.

Apparently not.

Saturday & Sunday were good, Monday and Tuesday I've been on my own but am now struggling to get motivated to go out. Thank goodness I'm meeting my knitting geek friends tonight. They'll cheer me up.

Are you having a good weekend Meow? Weather is so crap!!

How did the CBT go? Confused?

Sorry - I do not always get time to come on this forum...You have done so well getting through this time. Is your knitting group on camp? I would love that here. I think there is one but right over lunch time which is no good with my 3 year old son.

I hope you manage to get through the last few weeks without too much boredom/ trouble Smile
