Can anyone offer any advice on what happens to your quarter when you split? I think I read that you can stay in your quarter for a further 3 months once your husband leaves? Does anyone have any experience of any help that the navy are able to give on being rehoused, does this count as making yourself intentionally homeless? Thanks in advance.

Hi I am a RAF wife so not sure if it would be different, a friend of mine was told that her and her DH would have 3 months of him living in the block (or wherever) for them to have ago at patching things up, then if they couldn't patch things up then they would then have 3 months to find somewhere else to live. I think that SAFFA maybe able to help but if they can't they will point you in the direction of someone that can. Hope this is of some help.

Thanks for your reply, that additional 3 months you mention does ring a bell actually. I'll have a look at the SSAFA website and get in touch with them.
