tis the only reason i ever jumped into an outdoor body of water in february... (well unless i was being paid to be on a beach somewhere hot, obv)

No had to get myself into a life raft type exercise lots of nice young Maureen's on course

There was this one time in 2001 when I tripped over and fell into a shallow puddle. That was very cold indeed. I bashed my elbow too :(

I immediately called endex and we retreated to camp for tea and biccies, didn't want to catch a cold after all!

I kayaked for a couple of hours on one trip to akrotiri... And did the ubiquitous try-dive thingy... oh, oh, and the pool at ASI has a swim up bar! In the mess! the batman was very ginger, pale as a ghost with a whole heap of freckles. He was largely as miserable as sin, understandably... I'm guessing the deskie wasn't looking at photos when he made that posting decision...

Worst ever was attempting to learn to windsurf in frigging Wales...
