DH and I have recently started volunteering with a local group (eventually will be a charity but still very new!)
It is aimed at helping both veterans and the local community through gardening projects an is based at the old RNH Haslar.
So shameless plug here....

If you encourage your local authority/armed forces rep to sign up to the military covenant then you can access mod funds. Your project def sounds like it would qualify. If you google MOD community covenant, you will get the info x

Well we raised £176 this afternoon loads of local publicity, and hopefully lots of extra support
