DH home in two weeks and wanted to look decent for once and so have been trying to find something nice to wear. However, due to being a lazy, fat moo bag I am bigger than before he left making clothes shopping horrible. I'm 5 foot tall, size 14 and still look pregnant...........what on earth would look good on me?????? Jesus I am annoyed at myself for not shifting my arse more and also eating way too many potato's LOL
It deosn't help that I have absolutely not sense of style and this even extends to footwear as I live in trainers or in summer flipflops. I NEED TO BE GOK'd!!!!!

Okay happylander -

• get a spray tan a few before he gets back(a nice natural one - that'll boost your complexion after so many grey months).

• Check out one shop you like (John Lewis/Next/Fat face/Top Shop/White Stuff etc) and buy an entire outfit from that one shop - use their style guide online to suss out an outrfit to fit your shape.

• Buy some gorge shoes to merge with the outfit.

• Cut out bread and bread products for the next two weeks - I don't mean don't eat carbs - I mean spread soft cheese and ham between Rivita for example, have brown rice with fish for lunch, couscous salad etc

• Only eat boiled new potatoes - cook and mix with a little low fat mayo/dressing and eat warm with chicken or salmon and salad or mixed veg.

• Get a fab new hair cut/trim/colour

• Buy some new underwear and bra

-Book a restaurant (nearer the time when you know his flight has defo left).

• Buy a few new colouorful accessories for the house - couple new cushion covers/pretty vase/picture frame etc and put out fresh flowers for when he gets back.
