And judging by our walls you don't even need to be able to paint! Grin

Good spy work doonhammer - you'd be a good spook.Grin.

I can't belive you spent the whole of Thursday recording their movements!!! Although, I guess it wasn't hard as they were mostly in the van.

wonder how much they get an hour?

MrsSnaplegs · 25/03/2011 13:18

Does this make them modern skiving solutions?

vintageteacups · 25/03/2011 13:19

yep - sure does.

phone up and report them as useless Grin

We just reported the drain man and MODern called us back to appologise for him and their call centre having replayed my calls to them and agreed that I am sweet and polite on the phone but they try the patience of a saint. Our bloke came sat in van on our drive, moved so I could do the school run, looked in our drain when I got back said "you need to speak to DE about this it's not our problem" and left. We still have sewage coming through the bathroom floor and when we phoned to find out what was happening was told "not our issue". DH was not too happy but still after they appologised we are 2 weeks on and no use of the downstairs facilities and a nice sewage smell in the house !!

MrsMatelot · 25/03/2011 17:54

Our house was repainted before we moved in....not just the woodwork & the walls....carpets, floors, mirrors, curtains.....in fact anything that was in the house was splashed with paint....& don't get me started on the bathroom sealant.....a two year old could have done a better job!

vintageteacups · 25/03/2011 19:25

Mrsmatelot When we move in/out, DH just replaces sealant if it's urgh. So easy to do and looks so much nicer and you don't have wait 6 months for MHS to come and assess it, before leaving and getting the correct sealant, returning, only to find they've forgotten a tool to get out the old sealant and by the time they've drank your cuppa, it's knock off time Grin

MrsSnaplegs · 25/03/2011 19:32

Yep my dh does the jobs he can as it's so much easier
