Hello

I live with my husband and 3 teenage children in a Type D house its a new build and the bedrooms are decent sizes but the kitchen and lounge/diner are tiny. The house also has no garage.

Are we able to apply to HIC for a bigger Type D house? The local army camp has plenty of Type D houses with attached garage.

what sex are the teenagers and do they share a bedroom? How many beds is your house?

If they have surplus 1/4s you could apply but it would be a non entitled move therfore no removals van and no disturbance allowance. They may need to speak to the CO as well for permission

Type D is 4 bed, all girls and they have a bedroom each, not bothered about the non entitlement to removals or disturbance just need a house with space! I'll go and have a chat with the welfare chap the regt are away on Herrick.
